Brief Biography

 

Degree in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Master of Economic Development from the University of Oxford and Master of Industrial Development from East Anglia University (UK). He is associate professor at the Faculty of Economics of Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique), research director, scientific coordinator of the Research Group on Economics and Development and member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Social and Economic Studies (IESE). SOAS Development Studies, senior honorary researcher at the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED), University of Manchester, and member of the Mozambican Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Journal of Southern African Studies (JSAS) and editor of the Review of African Political Economy (RoAPE).
