3rd LINKED EMPLOYER EMPLOYEE DATA WORKSHOP - LEED 2013
Lisbon, ISEG, 27-28 June, 2013
||Call for papers||Program
The 3rd Linked Employer-Employee data (LEED) workshop will take place at ISEG, on the 27 and 28th of June.
LEED is now well established as a key source of information for empirical research in all fields of economics. The use of these data has become more widespread with the continuous improvements in computational capacity and the development of new econometric methods that deal with the challenges these data pose. LEED provide a natural ground for the study of workplace organization, compensation structure, wage and employment mobility, the relationship between firms' outcomes and workers' characteristics, but also international trade, the transmission of monetary policy, the impact of fiscal policy on market outcomes and industrial organization studies of market behavior.
We encourage researchers using LEED, including PhD students, to submit a paper to this Workshop. The deadline for paper submission is April 26, 2013. Applicants will be notified about the status of their submissions by May 10, 2013.
The workshop will be coupled with a summer school on labor economics with a strong emphasis on the usage of LEED applied to the Portuguese economy. The summer school will have the duration of 12 hours and will take place in 24-27 June, 2013. Participants in the conference can register in the summer school at no extra cost, but places are limited.
